In January, we hosted “Safety and Sanctuary,” a conversation between Hilary Moore and our own Rev. Anne Dunlap. They shared the lessons they’ve learned as long-time white anti-racist organizers in movement work experimenting with liberatory practices that keep more and more people safe. How can white Christians fight back against the Right, dismantle white supremacy in ourselves and our communities, and build towards a more liberative and thriving future for all? We don’t know and can’t know everything about how to meet this moment, but there are lessons and practices that we can call on to ground us. Check out the video here!

Also in January, two of our co-founders, Rev. Anne and Rev. Liz, were interviewed on the “Matter of Faith” podcast. It was a wonderful conversation about faith organizing with white Christians. Look for our episode on their website here.

In February, we began our Building Congregational Community Safety Practice Circles. This circle meets every six weeks (learn more here). Currently in these circles we are working with the “Congregational Flocking” resource we developed to support congregations in safety planning to keep immigrant beloveds safe. Want to join this circle? Be sure you sign up for email updates! And register for the next circle here.

We’re grateful for everyone who makes this work possible. Support us here!
