As the current administration guts social services in our communities, basic needs for care will intensify. How can congregations take care of our people in a way that doesn’t hand those we love right back to the state that does not love them?

- Learn best-practice community safety skills through skill-shares and practice scenarios.
- Deepen our analysis of carceral systems and their inability to keep us safe.
- Engage in case studies from real congregations.
- Develop spiritual and somatic practices to sustain this work over time.
- Network with other people of faith across the country for mutual support and strengthen the fabric of this work.
Join us as we learn and skill up together to keep ourselves and our faith communities safe without relying on policing and the prison industrial complex. Congregations of all faith traditions welcome.
